Alexandre O. Philippe
Creative Director
Alexandre holds a Masters Degree in Dramatic Writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has written and directed numerous award-winning films and documentaries, many of which take on the role of unpacking the most influential works of master filmmakers. Most recently, 78/52: Hitchcock’s Shower Scene, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and screened extensively at festivals prior to its release by IFC Films (US) and Dogwoof (International).
Other works include Doc of the Dead, which premiered at SXSW and was released by EPiX in the U.S. as the companion piece to World War Z; The Life and Times of Paul the Psychic Octopus, which premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival (feature version) and Sheffield Doc/Fest (broadcast version), and has been widely released around the world; and The People vs. George Lucas, which had event screenings at many prestigious film and documentary festivals on the world stage, and also world premiered at SXSW prior to its release by Lionsgate Entertainment.
Off the set, Alexandre has appeared on CBS, BBC Breakfast, Charlie Rose, and Turner Classic Movies as co-host to Ben Mankiewicz to present TCM Spotlight: Alfred Hitchcock during the entire month of July 2017 in prime time. He has served on numerous film festival juries, including the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Rome Film Festival, Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival (Spain), BiFan (South Korea), FilmFest Gent (Belgium), Fribourg International Film Festival (Switzerland), E Tudo Verdade (São Paulo, Brazil), and the New Zealand Film Awards. An active public speaker, Alexandre conducts a variety of seminars and masterclasses around the world (Doc/Edge Film Festival (New Zealand), Madeira Film Festival, Imagine Film Festival (Amsterdam), SXSW, Tallinn Black Nights (Estonia), Fantastic Zagreb, BiFan (South Korea), Maskoon Fantastic Film Festival (Lebanon), Savannah College of Art & Design, University of Indiana, and many more!) He also recently offered a masterclass on Alfred Hitchcock with Guillermo del Toro at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.
Kerry Deignan Roy
Producer
Kerry has worked on numerous award-winning independent narrative films and documentaries as producer, director, assistant director, and production manager. Kerry produced Memory, 78/52, Doc of the Dead, and The People vs. George Lucas (for Exhibit A Pictures), after the award-winning shorts Left (for New Moment Films) and Inside (for Cinema Vertige). As Production Manager for Denver Center Media, she contributed to a number of award-winning documentaries, including No Bigger Than A Minute, Stagestruck (a three-part series for Bravo), and Ancient Voices (the first attempt to seamlessly integrate two full-resolution HD images, and project them as a single, continuous film). Kerry is also the recipient of a Cine Golden Eagle for her work on the internationally distributed documentary film Tantalus: Behind the Mask.
Robert Muratore
Director of Photography/ Co-producer
Robert has garnered many awards for his work, including an Emmy for Best Cinematography and a Movie Maverick Award for Best Cinematography (When the Dragon Swallowed the Sun), as well as numerous film festival awards. Robert shot the critically-acclaimed short films The Spot and Inside, which screened at major film festivals around the world, as well as Memory, 78/52, The People vs. George Lucas, The Life and Times of Paul the Psychic Octopus, and Doc of the Dead.
Robert is also well-known for his cinematography and role as ‘Frenchy’ in Trey Parker’s cult hit Cannibal: The Musical. He also filmed Beyond the Brick: a LEGO Brickumentary and Being Evel — both directed by Academy Award Winner Daniel Junge; as well as Jamin Winans’ latest feature, The Frame.
